One of the shortest Alpine runs from Milan
Andermatt is about 185 km from Malpensa, one of the closest Swiss mountain resorts to Milan. The motorway climbs past Bellinzona to Airolo; from there the road tunnel runs under the Gotthard to Göschenen, and the last few kilometres wind up through the Schöllenen gorge into the village. In summer, when the pass road is open, your driver can take the old Gotthard Pass instead if you would rather have the view. Expect queues at the tunnel on summer weekends and at Easter, so on those days we leave earlier. We drop at The Chedi Andermatt, the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen or your apartment in the new Andermatt Reuss quarter. The V-Class takes seven passengers with skis or golf bags for the eighteen-hole course at the edge of the village.
