Golf in summer, skiing in winter, the same road
Crans-Montana is one of the shorter Swiss runs from Malpensa: about 185 km and three hours to the plateau, finishing with the climb from Sierre through the vineyards. In winter that road can carry snow, so the car leaves on winter tyres and your driver checks conditions before setting off. In late summer the resort hosts the European Masters golf tournament, and golf bags travel as easily as skis.
