Livigno sits at about 1,800 metres in a valley with very few road connections, which is why the journey takes close to four hours although the distance is only around 210 km from Milan. The Italian route follows Lake Como and the Valtellina to Bormio, then climbs over the Foscagno pass. Your driver knows the conditions on that last climb and chooses the departure time accordingly. Livigno hosted the freestyle and snowboard events of the 2026 Winter Olympics, and the Mottolino and Carosello 3000 areas draw riders all winter. It is also a duty-free zone, so allow some luggage space for the way home. The V-Class carries seven with boards and skis; groups book the Sprinter Luxury VIP. We drop at Lac Salin Spa & Mountain Resort and at apartments near the lifts.
