A gentle final approach
Megève is about 265 km from Malpensa. The route runs through the Aosta Valley and the Mont Blanc tunnel, down past Chamonix to Sallanches, then up the short climb to the village. Compared with the high Savoie resorts the last stretch is short and gentle, which suits families arriving after an overnight flight.
